So Bernie isn't perfect. I can agree with that.
But, he keeps on saying and doing the right thing even when I was expecting something else.
I checked into his legislation [all of those amendments he has been attaching to bills over the years] and I haven’t been able to find anything I disagree with.
I watched his speeches on YouTube including some really old ones from the days of VHS tapes, and I haven’t been able to find any speech I disagree with.
I’ve spoken to him in person, and he’s a kind and somewhat grumpy old man who looks like the grandfather he is, but he’s the kind of grandfather I wish I had.
Bernie was saying and doing the right things way back in the 1960’s and he has been consistently saying and doing the right things ever since.
We need some of Bernie’s foresight and being right on the issues before the right answer is popular. We NEED some of Bernie to rub off on to the rest of the United States, to make this country we live in a better place.
